  • Dr.
    Gerald C. Haggard DVM

    Dr. Gerald Haggard founded Exeter Veterinary Hospital April 25th 1982. Dr. Haggard has attended to the medical needs of every specie from Amazon Parrots to zebras in his veterinary career which started after graduating from the University of California in 1978 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. To provide the latest in professional care Dr. Haggard built a modern animal hospital opening in August of 2007. The expansion of service continues with personal attention to the patient and client.

    Dr.  Gerald Haggard and his wife Kim are active in their church and local civic groups. Their sons and daughter – in – laws are Nick and Hannah, Jordan and Crystal. They have a grandson named Forrest. Multiple cats, dogs, and horses are included in the family.

    They all enjoy cycling, gardening and other outdoor activities.

  • Suzie Gonzalez
    Lead Veterinary Technician

    Suzie joined Exeter Veterinary Hospital in August of 2008. She was born in Visalia, Ca and raised in Farmersville, Ca. In addition to her veterinary technician skills she acts as our bilingual interpreter. When not at the hospital she enjoys spending time with her 6 year old Yorkshire terrier, Piper. She likes watching movies, outdoor activities and riding her scooter.

  • Seneca Bowles

    Seneca joined Exeter Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2020 after returning home from Utah. She comes from a ranch background having always been surrounded by animals. She grew up raising and showing swine for 4-H and FFA at the Porterville Fair. She coaches volleyball for a local travel team in Porterville where they travel all over CA for weekend tournaments. She lives in Terra Bella with her fiancé and two dogs and 3 cats: “Shay” a 6-year-old retired Border Collie cattle dog, “Lady May” a 1.5-year-old Pembroke Welsh Corgi, “Meow Meow” 4-year-old Main Coon Mix, “Little Kitty” a 5-year-old Tortoiseshell rescue, and her newest kitten “Oak” a 4-month-old white domestic Long hair. On her free time, she enjoys working on her family’s cattle ranch, traveling the states with her fiancé, and working her side business “Skullz Gone Wild”, which is custom home décor. She is certified in artificial insemination for beef and dairy cattle and plans to attend an Equine dentistry course in Idaho and be a certified Equine Dental Technician before the end of next year.

  • Copper Haggard
    Security

    Dr. Haggard Rescued Copper  as a puppy from the streets of Ivanhoe in 2012. Now, Copper is the resident here at Exeter Veterinary Hospital and is the hospital Mascot. Along with being a part of the security team, Copper is the hospitals live blood doner, she has helped save patients live with a blood transfusion. When copper is not working, she enjoys waling Rocky Hill with her coworkers, Liu, Seneca, and Suzie, she LOVES her daily walks with Dr. Haggard to the park where they have their daily picnic and she gets to eat her favorite snack, CHEESE!
